Two ways a result can be presented
Certified Local
For a reviewed Direct or Strong occupation match with a publishable national wage cell, we show that country’s official employee-wage statistic in its native unit, plus a separately labeled modeled planning benchmark. It is local evidence—not a converted U.S. number.
International Reference
When a local primary is not available for that occupation and country, we show the selected U.S. occupation planning benchmark in the chosen display currency. It is useful comparison context, but it is never called local wage evidence.
Coverage is record-specific: even in a Certified Local country, a broad, suppressed, unpublished, or unsupported occupation match can remain Local Context Only or Local Unavailable. The calculator says which case applies and keeps the two evidence types separate.
